Parents interested in applying to Dunstable Icknield Lower School for admission of their children can arrange a visit to the school by contacting the School Office.
Reception (starting school) admissions
Applications for a reception/starting school place can be made through Central Bedfordshire Council here.
Applications normally open around October and end in January. This process is completely handled by the local authority, Dunstable Icknield Lower School do not have any say or influence over the allocation process, even if your child has a place in our Nursery. In-year transfers
Children wishing to attend Dunstable Icknield Lower School within the school year must apply to Central Bedfordshire Council and fill in the schools admissions form for in year admissions here.
If there are spaces available, Central Bedfordshire will contact you to make an offer. You are welcome to come and visit the school and will need to confirm if you wish to accept the offer.
